About BKT Waterfall Photography

I was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, and moved to Barron, Wisconsin, in 1988. My love for photography began in the mid-1990s when I started shooting film, with a particular passion for nature photography. In the early 2000s, I discovered waterfall photography and fell in love with slow-shutter speed techniques—it’s truly an art form. As a self-taught photographer, I believe that nothing is worth fighting for unless you truly love it, and photography is my passion.

Over the years, my work has gained widespread recognition. Many of my photographs are displayed in hospitals and offices throughout Eau Claire, Wisconsin. My images have been published in outdoor photography magazines in over 60 countries. I’m honored to have won first place in the Black River Falls Chamber of Commerce competition and to have my work featured in numerous state park calendars.
